CSP Sprint Your Own Age Meet Wrap Up
We had one of our largest turnouts in years for this year’s CSP Sprint Your Own Age! With almost 600 swimmers, and 10 teams, many kids had great performances and we even saw some new Ozark Records and Team Records set! Alyssa Dennis got the new 15 – 16 Girls Ozark and Team Record in the 100 IM, while Anna Scott Baur was also faster than the previous record. Juliette Phillips set the new Ozark and Team Record for the 13 – 14 Girls in the 100 IM.
In the 6 & Under Age Groups, Naomi Shi won individual events, while placing in the Top 8 were Skye Anderson, Alexa Brinton, Mateo Carrero Archambault, Triston Cole, Nathan Lai, Louis Morrison, Deon Saunders and Sylas Ulrich. Finishing in the Top 16 were, Julian Chang, Vihaan Deore, Owen Moore, Nathan Pohrer and Nicholas Pohrer.
For the 7 Year Olds, winning events were Alice Boevingloh and Evan Kim. Placing in the Top 8 were Annabelle Crall, Savannah Harris, Charlotte Herbst, Connor Jostes, Grace Liu, Lucy Meyer, Audrey Moore, Elsa Moore, Lucas Theodos and Finn Ziolkowski. Finishing in the Top 16 were Austyn Hage, Evelyn Kline, Nyah Patel, Ivan Ryazanov, Nathan Schneider, Elena Zevallos and Justin Ziaee, and also competing at the Sprint Your Own Age were Ava Dharna and James Whitaker.
With the 8 Year Olds, Olive Agustin, Kate Brinton, Emma Fouke and Prairey Maxwell, all won individual events, while placing in the Top 8 were Leela Anadkat, John Boevingloh, Reid Haffenreffer, Cameron House, Kellie Ji, Vivian McCaffrey, Ethan Miller, Seamus Miller, Molly Moriarty, Evan Ragland, Ian Rodrigues, Mariana Saenz, Annarose Schneider and Samuel Ulrich. Diego Carrero Archambault, Jonah Goodwin, Chloe Toohey, Vada Tulyasathien and Genevieve Unger all placed in the Top 16, while Rowan Conway-Deheck, Martin Igney, Everett Morrison and Brynia Murphy, also competed at the meet.
In the 9 Year Old Age Group, Austin Chu, Colin Cunneen, Ryan Moore and Alicia Williams, all won individual events. Placing in the Top 8 were Christian Chang, Sadie Cole, Marissa Kelley and Elizabeth Woltz. Finishing in the Top 16 were Amelia Beatty, Brooke Dunaway, Ellis Halpert, Ethan Klaus and Ritvik Mandalapu, while Mrinali Kaswan and Olivia Lin, also raced at the Sprint Your Own Age.
The 10 Year Old swimmers who won individual events were Jane Hill, Aiden Kim and Mia Panic. Placing in the Top 8 were Oliver Adkins, Jackson Brinton, Olivia Hanes, Sam Hoberman, Brandon Hu, Frances Igney, Sienna Kelley, William Mcilwaine, Shulynn Ragland, Sadie Ulrich and Avery Warwick. Finishing in the Top 16 were Kendall Bilchik, Lucia Davis, Thomas Griffey, Aston Liang and Tiernan Miller, while also racing at the meet were Sebastian Schmitt-Arango and Elise Waheed.
The 11 Year Olds had Brody Blatt, Charlotte Brown and Camden Theodos, all winning individual events. Finishing in the Top 8 were Bella Anadkat, Max Boevingloh, Keegan Brown, Trevor Gatz, Evie Harris, Wenxu He, Maitland Michaelson, Audrey Qureshi, Stephanie Rose, Oliva Shell, Mia Singer, Ema Stojicevic and William Unger. Placing in the Top 16 were Madelene Adkins, Vladimir Chapman, Samantha Cohen, Nora Cooke, Jordyn Hamrah, Tyler He, Camille Matlock, Keira Palanca, Will Plassmeyer, Mariam Zakhary and Arlo Ziolkowski. Also swimming at the meet were Lewis Adkins, Nethmi Amarakone, Nevinka Amarakone, Eshaa Deore, Katherine Rose Ellenhorn, Vida Glass, Sahasra Mandalapu, Claire Norris, Cecilia Phoenix, Emily Stoeberl and Zach Withington.
Winning events with the 12 Year Olds were Asher Cole, Avery Cunneen, Macie DiGuiseppe, Jacqueline Hu, Sean McGinley, Cabot Murawski and Lindsay Naber. Placing in the Top 8 were Casey Chu, Kaitlyn Cragg, Chandler Grimm, Charlie Hill, Andy Nelson, James Palanca, Hannah Renaud, Penny Riswadkar, Ella Welch, Emma Welch, Evan Wiley and Madeleine Williams. Making the Top 16 were Sonia Archambault, Noemi Crall, Sylvia Hanes, Elle Schaefer, Nina Schuerer, Oliver Stern and Andrew Wang, while Jaylyn Lin also competed at the meet.
CSP had many outstanding relay performances at this meet as well. Winning the 200 Medley Relays were, for the Girls Avery, Jacqueline, Lindsay and Hannah, while Evan, William, Asher and Sean won for the Boys. In the 200 Free Relays, Macie, Hannah, Lindsay and Avery won for the Girls, while Asher, Sean, Camden and Charlie won for the Boys.
In the 13 Year Old age group, winning events were Nora Lee Brown, Anya Liu and Henry Unger. Placing in the Top 8 were Jackson Bespalko, MaryJoyce Bezzant, Grace Coppel, Joseph DiGuiseppe, Cate Fear, Luke Gill, Sophia Goodwin, Grace Kraeger, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Nicole Li, Aiden Mcilwaine, Nora Rutkowski, Lily Ta, Austin Theodos, Lexi Thornton, Sarah Wallace and Ema Wisker. Finishing in the Top 16 were Karson Bluette, Ella Cooper, Emily Dieckhaus, Claire DuBois, Nico Grassi, Ari Hoberman, Meg Willmann, Kailyn Womer, and Delia Zacks. Also racing at the SYOA were Natalie Claybaugh, Alex Cohen, Ana Dalton and Soleil Nazar.
Winning events for the 14 Year Old Swimmers were Masis Bagautdinov, Lily Hsieh, Juliette Phillips and Graham Zucker. Placing in the Top 8 were Laura Bonds, Trey Cunneen, Sam Ellenhorn, Everdine Ferguson, Emily Frazier, Christian Lawrence, Patrick McGinley, Leah Renner, Jillian Thomason, Olivia Thurman and Hunter Wilson. Finishing in the Top 16 was Emily Walker.
In the 200 Medley Relays, Lily, Nora Lee, Jillian and Juliette won for the Girls, Graham, Christian, Masis and Trey won for the Boys. In the 200 Free Relays, Juliette, Lily, Emma and Leah won the Girls and Henry, Trey, Graham and Masis won for the Boys.
Winning events in the 15 & Over Age Group were Steven Busch, Alyssa, Eric Ji, Cameron McCrary, Kellen Mottl, Andrew O’Brien and Maddie Palatt. Placing in the Top 8 were Koji Barrette, Anna Scott, Lauren Beard, Jessica Briers, Shelby Bushong, Kathryn Chaves, Mary Dieckhaus, Joanna Dohrman, Jackson Fox, Sophie Fredman, Parker Hagemann, Franklin Liu, Ryan Mauney, Campbell Murawski, Lee Naber, Ella Pearl, Madelyn Schoedel, Niko Theodos, Sophie Thompson, Wil Welch. Finishing in the Top 16 were Margaret Beimdiek, Paige Howell, Erin Lamping, Grace Schaefer, Emma Thurman and Talia Warticovschi. Maggie Nelson also competed at the Sprint Your Own Age.
Winning the Girls 200 Medley Relay was Ella, Kellen, Joanna and Parker, while Lee, Andrew, Koji and Ryan won for the Boys. Winning the Girls 200 Free Relay was Anna Scott, Maddie, Jessica and Kellen, while Andrew, Ryan, Lee and Steven won for the Boys.
