CSP Races at the MLK Invite
CSP took almost 100 swimmers to our annual Tri Meet with Southeastern and the Oakland Live Y’ers. This is a great meet for swimmers to get prepared for the Championship Season and an excellent opportunity for swimmers to hang with their friends at a fun, fast meet!
Colin Cunneen set the first team record of the year, and decade, breaking a record that has stood since 1981, in the 10 & Under Boys 50 Back.
Winning events in the 10 & Under Age Group were Austin Chu, Colin, Aiden Kim and Mia Panic. Placing in the Top 8 were Kathryn Carr, Olivia Hanes, Marissa Kelley, Sienna Kelley, Evan Kim, Brodyn Murphy and Alicia Williams. Finishing in the Top 16 were Annabelle Crall, Emma Fouke, Lucas Theodos and Finn Ziolkowski while also swimming at the meet were Diego Carrero Archambault and Mateo Carrero Archambault.
In the Relays, Sienna, Alicia, Mia and Emma were 2nd in the Medley and Mia, Sienna, Alicia and Olivia were 2nd in the Free, while Kathryn, Emma, Marissa and Leela Anadkat were 5th.
The Boys Team of Aiden, Colin, Austin and Evan won the 200 Free Relay.
Winning individual events in the 11 – 12 Age Group were Brody Blatt, Macie DiGuiseppe, Wills Dino, Cabot Murawski, Hannah Renaud and Madeleine Williams. Placing in the Top 8 were Kaitlyn Cragg, Bennett Cuculich, Avery Cunneen, Chandler Grimm, Jane Hill, Andrew Nelson, Stephanie Rose, Mia Singer, Camden Theodos, Emma Welch and Evan Wiley. Finishing in the Top 16 were Bella Anadkat, Sonia Archambault, Nora Cooke, Mika Finucane, Amalie Gierasch, Jordyn Hamrah, Sylvia Hanes, Sam Hoberman, Maitland Michaelson, Elle Schaefer, Olivia Shell, Ella Welch and Arlo Ziolkowski while also swimming at the meet were Noemi Crall and Cecilia Phoenix.
In the Girls 200 Medley Relays, Avery, Madeleine, Hannah and Macie won for the Girls, while Emma, Chandler, Jane and Kaitlyn were 4th. For their 200 Free Relays, Macie, Hannah, Avery and Emma were 2nd and Madeleine, Kaitlyn, Stephanie and Ella were 3rd.
In the Boys 200 Medley Relays, Evan, Cabot, Camden and Brody were 2nd and Sam, Wills, Andrew and Bennett were 4th, while in the 200 Free Relays, Brody, Bennett, Cabot and Wills were 2nd and Arlo, Evan, Andrew and Sam were 5th.
In the 13 – 14 Age Group, Trey Cunneen won individual events, while placing in the Top 8 Aidan Brawer, Grace Coppel, Emily Dieckhaus, Joseph DiGuiseppe, Sam Ellenhorn, Cate Fear, Everdine Ferguson, Grace Kraeger, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Lindsay Naber, Isabel Phillips, Xander Theodos and Lexi Thornton. Finishing in the Top 16 Casey Chu, Corbin Cole, Emily Frazier, Luke Gill, Sophia Goodwin, Charles Hill, Ari Hoberman, Katie Laffey, Penny Riswadkar, Lily Ta, Austin Theodos and Meg Willmann. Also swimming at the meet were Karson Bluette, Natalie Claybaugh, Ella Cooper and Kailyn Womer.
In the Girls 200 Medley Relays, Lily, Caitlin, Grace and Grace were 4th, while Emily, Penny, Lindsay and Everdine were 7th. In the 200 Free Relays, Grace, Everdine, Lily and Cate were 3rd, while Lexi, Lindsay, Grace and Meg were 6th.
For the Boys, in the 200 Medley Relays, Trey, Xander, Sam and Austin were 2nd, while Joseph, Corbin, Casey and Charlie were 6th. In the 200 Free Relays, Trey, Sam, Xander and Austin were 3rd and Joseph, Charlie, Luke and Aidan were 5th.
In the 15 & Over Age Groups, JD Suarez won an individual event, while finishing in the Top 8 Shelby Bushong, Erin Lamping, Cameron McCrary, Lee Naber, Grace Schaefer, Niko Theodos, Willem Thomas and Wil Welch. Placing in the Top 16 Masis Bagautdinov, Jackson Fox, Adam Sutter and Gavin Thomas. Getting second swims in the Top 24 were Charlie Krasnoff and Maggie Nelson.
In the Relays, Maggie, Erin, Shelby and Grace teamed up to place 8th in the 200 Medley and 7th in the 200 Free for the Girls.
For the Boys, JD, Niko, Cameron and Lee were 5th in the Medley, while Adam, Masis, Wil and Jackson were 7th. In the Free Relays, Lee, Cameron, Jackson and Niko were 4th, with JD, Wil, Masis and Adam were 7th.
