3 CSP Alumni featured in 3 seperate SwimSwam Podcasts Over the Last Month

CSP has had 3 alumni featured in SwimSwam podcasts over the last month.

Today former CSP assistant coach Brian Tremml was featured in the podcast. Brian is the director of the swimming film The Water Is My Sky which will be released this Friday. We have sent the films information out in our weekly Splash updates.

As mentioned previously, our team is participating in the virtual premiere of a brand new swimming documentary called The Water Is My Sky!

Colleen Young a former CSP Elite group member appeared in the podcast with her roommate Makenzie Coan to discuss Paralympic Qualification. Colleen is a USA resident team athlete at the Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs,Colorado. Colleen is trying to qualify for her 3rd Paralympic Games. She was the Bronze medalist in Rio at the 2016 games. Colleen just recently broke her American Record in the 100 meter Breaststroke. She qualified for her first to Paralympics while swimming for CSP.

Evie Pfeifer is the 3rd alum to be featured in a SwimSwam podcast this month. Evie will be extending her time at the University of Texas to a 5th year. Evie was our only representative at the 2016 Olympic Trials while she was swimming in our Elite group. She will be competing in the Wave II Trials next month in Omaha.

In addition to Evie other alumni qualified to compete at Olympic Trials are Matthew Hillmer, competing with the University of Wisconsin and Helen Wojdylo competing with AGUA in the Wave I Trials meet.

 

Kledi Kadiu a current Elite group member has qualified to represent his home country of Albania at the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan in July. Kledi qualified while swimming at the Edwardsville Long Course Kick Off meet.
