Long Course Kick Off was a huge success

Our first team Long Course meet of the year was a record-breaking meet for the Tideriders!

Austin Chu set the Ozark Record in the 100 Fly for 11 – 12 Boys, a record that has stood since 1989!  He also added the Team Records in the 50 Fly and 50 Back (these records were from 1983), 100 Breast (since 1987) and 100 Back.

Aiden Kim set the 11 – 12 Boys Team Record in the 100 Free.

In the 8 & Under Age Group, Deon Saunders won an individual event, while Leonardo Blum, Dash Duncan, Boardie Fouke, Anika Goettel and Carr Michaelson all placed in the Top 8.  Alexa Brinton and Mateo Carrero Archambault placed in the Top 16.

In the 9 – 10 Age Group, winning events were Emma Fouke and Evan Kim.  Placing in the Top 8 were Leela Anadkat, Kya Baker, Charlotte Dahlby, Grace Liu, Elsa Moore, Lucas Theodos and Eli Voss.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Raymond Blum, Martin Igney, Eve Unger, Cate Wagner and Finn Ziolkowski.

Also swimming with the 9 – 10-year Olds were Phin Baley, Sally Gray Mueth, Evelyn Kline, Lillian McGinnis, Morgan McGinnis, Ilana Moons, Hailey Payne, Stella Pelech, Robert Weiss and.

In the 11 – 12 Age Group, winning events were Austin and Aidan.  Placing in the Top 8 were Lucy Baley, Jackson Brinton, Brandon Hu, Marissa Kelley, Sienna Kelley, Maddie Mug, Aarav Sade, Mason Voss and Alicia Williams.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Kate Brinton, Charlie Fan, Frances Igney, Curtis Murawski, Lucie Wildman and Kevin Wu.  Eilla Reinhard also competed at the meet.

In the 12 & Under Relays, Sienna, Frances, Maddie and Ali were 2^nd in the 200 Free, while Kate, Addie Jeliazkova, Vivian McCaffrey and Marissa were 7^th, Kaedyn Miller, Lucie, Cate and Molly Moriarty were 11^th, Leela, Charlotte, Eve and Annabelle Crall were 14^th and Lucy, Grace, Kya and Chloe Toohey finished 16^th.

In the Boys 12 & Under 200 Free Relays, Austin, Jackson, Kevin and Aiden won, while Landon Waldman, Aarav, Curtis and Charlie were 6^th, and Boardie, Henry Wildman, Griffin Shipley and Diego Carrero Archambault were 12^th. 

In the Girls 12 & Under Medley Relays, Marissa, Alicia, Maddie and Sienna won, while Kaedyn, Lucie, Lucy and Frances were 5^th, Charlotte, Emma, Leela and Eve were 7^th, Cate, Kya, Grace and Elsa were 15^th and Sophie Sobush, Dasha, Margaret Sharp and Madeleine Keller finished in 17^th.   

Winning the 12 & Under Boys 200 Medley Relay was Aiden, Brandon, Austin and Aarav, while Kevin, Evan, Charlie and Eli were 4^th and Curtis, Martin, Henry and Raymond were 11^th.

In the 13 – 14 Age Group, winning events were Brody Blatt, Charlotte Brown, Cabot Murawski, Hannah Renaud and Camden Theodos.  Placing in the Top 8 were Reese Anderson, Wills Dino, Harrison Frost, Wenxu He, Kate Punnewaert, Nina Schuerer, Sophia Snyder and Ema Stojicevic.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Max Boevingloh, Keegan Brown, Claire Chumley, Nora Cooke, Elise Hamelink, Sylvia Hanes, Henry Hassenstab, Sam Hoberman, Maitland Michaelson, Mia Panic and Cole Warnke.

Also racing in the 13 – 14 Age Group were Bella Anadkat, Sonia Archambault, Samantha Cohen, Ryan DeMargel, Jordyn Hamrah, Olivia Hanes, Tucker Hill, Jessa Lee, Henry Mura, Will Plassmeyer, Audrey Qureshi, Lauren Randall, Olivia Shell, Mia Singer, Mariam Zakhary and Arlo Ziolkowski.

Winning events in the 15 & Over Age Group were Jaxon Bradburn, Nora Lee Brown, Kathryn Chaves, Max Marcus, Cameron McCrary, Kellen Mottl, Campbell Murawski, Brooke Punnewaert, Niko Theodos and Graham Zucker.  Placing in the Top 8 were Ella Arbeiter, MJ Bezzant, Ashlyn Canale, Casey Chu, Ben Chumley, Ava Craig, Trey Cunneen, Josh Denckhoff, Alyssa Dennis, Sam Ellenhorn, Everdine Ferguson, Kearney Foy, Charlie Hill, Jacqueline Hu, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Samantha Lee, Ryan Mauney, Lucy Maxey, Anna Moehn, Lindsay Naber, Brett Ninneman, Juliette Phillips, Leah Renner, Norah Rutkowski, Graham Sagel, Madelyn Schoedel, Alex Snyder, Xander Theodos, Gavin Theodos, Willem Theodos, Emma Welch, Emma Wisker and Jaden Yarbrough.  Finishing Top 16 were Margaret Beimdiek, Karson Bluette, Laura Bonds, Shelby Bushong, Cate Fear, Ari Hoberman and Ella Welch.

Also competing at the Long Course Kick Off were Drew Baker, Amelia Dino, Amalie Gierasch, Isabel Phillips, Austin Theodos and Hunter Wilson.

In the 13 – Over 200 Free Relays, Madelyn, Juliette, Alyssa and Campbell won, while Leah, Kellen, Emma and Brooke were 3^rd, Ella, MJ, Brooke and Ashlyn were 5^th, Norah, Shelby, Hannah and Kathryn were 7^th, Cate, Charlotte, Caitlin and Ava were 9^th, and Lindsay, Margaret, Everdine and Emma Kaemmerer were 12^th.

Winning the Boys 13 & Over 200 Free Relays were Graham, Ryan, Cameron and Trey, while Jaxon, Niko, Max and Xander were 3^rd, Gavin Thomas, Sam, Cabot and Charlie were 6^th, Ben, Brody, Willem and Jaden were 9^th, Wenxu, Ari, Wills and Casey were 10^th, and Brett, Harrison, Josh and Brett were 11^th.

Winning the Girls 13 & Over 200 Medley Relays, Leah, Kellen, Alyssa and Anna, while Madelyn, Emma, Norah and Campbell were 2^nd, Caitlin, Jacqueline, Lindsay, and Kathryn were 5^th, Kate, Brooke, Hannah and Charlotte were 6^th, Mia, Alex, Ava and Emma were 9^th and Claire, Ema, Shelby and Samantha were 10^th.
