CSP Competes Strong at the Rose Memorial

CSP took over 70 athletes to the Rose Memorial Meet held in Lenexa, Kansas this past weekend and it was a very fast and fun meet for the athletes!

There were numerous records being broken once again this weekend and another long-standing record fell when Emma Fouke broke the 10 & Under Girls 50 Breast, which has stood since 1986!

Austin Chu broke his Team Records in the 50 Fly, 50 Back, 100 Back and 100 Breast.

Aiden Kim broke his Team Record in the 100 Free, being the first 11 – 12 Boy for CSP to break a minute, and added the 50 Free as well.

In the 10 & Unders, Emma and Evan Kim both won individual events.  Making Finals were Olive Agustin, Kya Baker, Charlotte Dahlby, Paige Haug, Lucas Theodos and Eli Voss.  Raymond Blum made the Top 16.

With the 11 – 12-Year-Olds, Austin and Aiden swept all of the 11 – 12 Boys events.  Making Finals were Lucy Baley, Colin Cunneen, Charlie Fan, Marissa Kelley, Maddie Mug, Brodyn Murphy and Alicia Williams.  Placing in the Top 16 were Brandon Hu, Prairey Maxwell, Curtis Murawski and Vivie Murphy, while also competing in the at the Rose Memorial was Vivian McCaffrey.

In the 13 – 14 Age Group, winning events were Brody Blatt, Cabot Murawski and Hannah Renaud.  Making Finals were Claire Chumley, Wills Dino, Harrison Frost, Sylvia Hanes, Wenxu He, Sam Hoberman, Mia Panic, Nina Schuerer and Camden Theodos.  Placing in the Top 16 were Keegan Brown, Olivia Hanes, Henry Hassenstab, Sienna Kelley and Maitland Michaelson, while also competing were Ryan DeMargel and Henry Mura.

In the 15 & Over Age Group, Caroline Foltz won an individual event.  Making Finals in the Top 8 were Karson Bluette, Jax Bradburn, Nora Lee Brown, Trey Cunneen, Everdine Ferguson, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Lucy Maxey, Cameron McCrary, Campbell Murawski, Juliette Phillips, Norah Rutkowski, JD Suarez, Niko Theodos and Graham Zucker.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Ella Arbeiter, Drew Baker, Laura Bonds, Ashlyn Canale, Benjamin Chumley, Ava Craig, Amelia Dino, Kearney Foy, Graham Sagel, Willem Thomas and Jaden Yarbrough, while also swimming at the meet were Casey Chu, Emma Kaemmerer, Isabel Phillips and Xander Theodos.
