CSP has 32 athletes attend the 2022 Summer Central Zone Region VIII Sectional Meet at the University of Missouri

CSP sent 32 swimmers to the Central Section Region VIII Championships this past weekend at the University of Missouri. This group was the 3rd biggest team at the meet, but was easily one of the youngest groups. With 17 of our swimmers being 15 & under. We have 28 of our best training for NCSA Junior Nationals which would have put us as the biggest team by far if all our athletes were there as no team had more than 35 swimmers. Austin Chu, the youngest male athlete in the meet at 12, broke 11-12 Team records in the 100 and 200 Back. Avery Cunneen broke the 13-14 Girls Team Record in the 50 Back as well. Kate Punnewaert qualified for NCSA Junior Nationals in the 200 Back.
