CSP Swimmers Compete at Two Meets on the same Weekend

We had two meets on the same weekend.  We had over 100 swimmers attend a meet in town at the St. Peter’s Rec Plex, while over 100 swimmers traveled to Evansville, Indiana to swim at the Newburgh Sea Creatures Meet.

In Evansville, Austin Chu continued to lower his 11 – 12 Boys Team Records, breaking his own 50 Back, 200 Back and 200 Breast.

Winning events for the 8 & Under was Deon Saunders, while Triston Cole, Boardie Fouke and Quinn Haug all placed in the Top 8.

For the 9 – 10 Year Olds, winning events were Paige Haug, Evan Kim, Dhathresh Kolli and Indie Layton.  Placing in the Top 8 were Winnie Beardsley, Leo Blum, Raymond Blum, Julia Bucci, Timmy Chen, Libby Cole, Evelyn Kline, Tommy Melly, Lucy Meyer, Lucas Theodos and Eli Voss.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Nathan Chen, Teddy Haffenreffer, Charlotte Herbst, Paul Parafiniuk and Harper Stewart.

Winning events in the 11 – 12 Age Group were Austin, Jacob Corbett, Mason Voss and Alicia Williams.  Placing in the Top 8 were Lucy Baley, Colin Cunneen, Charlie Fan, Emma Fouke, Graham Hall, Cameron House, Molly Moriarty, Curtis Murawski, Vivie Murphy, Daniel Peterson and Kevin Wu.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Olive Agustin, Leela Anadkat, Kya Baker, William Chen, Charlotte Dahlby, Martin Igney, Vivian McCaffrey, Kaedyn Miller, whilelso swimming at the NSC Meet were Sadie Cole, Claire Collet and Lilah Orlando.

Winning events in the 13 & Over Age Group were MJ Bezzant, Jax Bradburn, Nora Lee Brown, Daniel Garza, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Cabot Murawski, Campbell Murawski, Josh Noll, Kate Punnewaert, Hannah Renaud, Norah Rutkowski and Ema Stojicevic.  Finishing in the Top 8 were Reese Anderson, Brody Blatt, Drew Baker, Keegan Brown, Ashlyn Canale, Kathryn Chaves, Claire Chumley, Asher Cole, Nora Cooke, Sam Ellenhorn, Everdine Ferguson, Harrison Frost, Olivia Hanes, Aiden Kim, Jessa Lee, Samantha Lee, Henry Mura, Lindsay Naber, Mia Panic, Nina Schuerer, Brooke Shadduck, Olivia Shell, Alex Snyder, Xander Theodos, Camden Theodos and Emma Welch.  Placing in the Top 16 were Karson Bluette, Cate Fear, Jordyn Hamrah and Henry Hassenstab, while also racing in Indy were Bella Anadkat, Elise Hamelink, Frances Igney, Maitland Michaelson, Brodyn Murphy, Mia Singer and Ella Welch.

At the Rec Plex, we had some more outstanding performances!

Winning events in the 8 & Unders was Madelyn Myroup, while placing in the Top 8 were Ada Agustin, Philip Bolian, August Dacey, Vihaan Deore, Dasha Duncan, Winter Fanetti, Anika Goettel, Amelia Reboulet and Benjamin Ward.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Ananya Karwa, Oscar Miller and Miles Rutherford.  Also racing at the Rec Plex were Eric Diao, Oliver Dimit, Maya Hindupur, Saanvi Sharma and Eleanor Swanson.

For the 9 – 10 Year Olds, winning events was Elsa Moore, placing in the Top 8 was Finn Ziolkowski and finishing in the Top 16 was Eamon Weis.  Also competing at the Rec Plex were Priya Bass, Julian Chang, Bridget Dussan, Max Etherington, Tucker House, Katelyn Huffman, Calvin Hyland, Foster Johnston, Rachel Liu, Carr Michaelson, Hailey Payne, Richard Reboulet, Ivan Ryazanov, Jacob Schilling, Layla Sciaroni, Simran Sharma, Theodore Shroff, Aaryan Singh, Oliver Swanson, Parker Waldman, Angela Wang, Abigail Watson, Anthony Weaver, Robert Weiss, Audrey Zhang and Justin Ziaee.

With the 11 – 12-Year-Old Swimmers, placing in the Top 8 were Prairey Maxwell and Aarav Sade.  Also swimming at the Rec Plex Meet were Conor Brennan, Audrey Brown, Jenson Busch, Christian Chang, Eliza Fields, Rohan Karwa, Shayaan Merchant, Evelyn Sanchez, Margaret Sharp, Emily Tinnin, Owen Van Deven, Landon Waldman, Caleb Weaver, Andrew Wolken, Tyler Yates and Elizabeth York.

In the 13 – 14 Age Group, finishing in the Top 8 was Cole Warnke, placing in the Top 16 were William Mcilwaine and Arlo Ziolkowski.  Also racing at the Rec Plex were Lane Baker, Carson Crane, Eshaa Deore, Miller Dorsey, Samuel Etherington, Tucker Hill, Lillian Limbrick, Sally Nolan, Megan Ruth, Ella Shadel Lawrence, Jonah Stolker and Mariam Zakhary.

In the 15 & Over Age Group, Trey Cunneen, Caroline Foltz and Emma Wisker won individual events, while Ava Craig, Avery Cunneen, Lucy Maxey and Meg Willmann finished Top 8.  Claire DuBois and Kate Peck placed in the Top 16, while Gretchen Sturm competed as well.
