CSP Pulls off a Fast Sprint Your Own Age

CSP hosted our Sprint Your Own Age Meet this past weekend.  Almost 75% of our athletes participated in this meet and it was a huge success.  Unlike most meets, swimmers will race against swimmers their own age.  It makes for more races and more opportunities to swim against swimmers who are your age as well.

Austin Chu set a new Ozark and Team Record for the 11 – 12 Boys in the 100 IM and Charlotte Brown set a new Team Record in the 13 – 14 Girls 100 IM.

In the 6 & Under Age Group, Cecilia Myroup and Benjamin Russel won individual events, while placing in the Top 8 were Thomas Brinton, Samuel Buchalter, Charlotte Ciesielski, Reider Kolmar, Wyatt LaRue, Sikander Manocha, Finley McGinnis, Margaret Melly, Edward Melly, Ethan Mendez, Poppy Miller and Charlotte Zhao.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Elliot Fishman, Graham Schnakenberg and Sawyer Waldman.

Winning events as 7-Year-Old Swimmers were Joseph Moore and Michael Reidy, while finishing in the Top 8 were Ada Agustin, Asa Bains, Julia Estepp, Winter Fanetti, Alexander Jin, Parker Koke, Nicholas Liebermann, Oscar Miller, Edith Spitzfaden, Eleanor Swanson and Emelia Turner.  Placing in the Top 16 were Natalie Asiimwe and Delaney Miranda.

Winning events as an 8-Year-Old were Madelyn Myroup and Deon Saunders, while finishing in the Top 8 were Alexa Brinton, Cindy Chen, Vihaan Deore, Dasha Duncan, Boardie Fouke, Anika Goettel, Ananya Karwa, Jason Lai, Nathan Lai, Kevin Li, Amelia Reboulet and Benjamin Ward.  Placing in the Top16 were Philip Bolian, John Ciesielski, August Dacey, Lucas He, Kennedy Johnson, Evelyn Lee, James Moore and Saanvi Sharma.  Also racing at the Sprint Your Own Age were Isaiah Asiimwe, Nicole Asiimwe, Maison Birge, Patrick Carron, Eric Diao, Avery Faupel, Jennifer Liu, Nathan Pohrer, Nicholas Pohrer, Dhruv, Rohatgi, Edward Ronnie, Miles Rutherford, Tanvi Savarnya, Nathaniel Thompson and Yilin Zhao.

With the 9 Year Olds, winning events were Libby Cole, Sylas Ulrich and Eli Voss, while placing in the Top 8 were Leo Blum, Julian Chang, Nathan Chen, Timmy Chen, Triston Cole, Sally Gray Mueth, Olivia Lee, Carr Michaelson, Richard Reboulet, Jacob Schilling and Harper Stewart.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Tucker House, David Pion, Theodore Shroff and Ava Zasaretti, also swimming at the Sprint Your Own Age were Teddy Haffenreffer and Oliver Swanson.

In the 10-Year-Old Age Group, winning events were Evan Kim, Dhathresh Kolli and Indie Layton.  Finishing in the Top 8 were Raymond Blum, Julia Bucci, Annabelle Crall, Hugh Glastetter, Ellie Jones, Grace Liu, Tommy Melly, Lucy Meyer, Audrey Moore, Ivan Ryazanov, Lucas Theodos, Eamon Weis, Robert Weiss and Finn Ziolkowski.  Placing in the Top 16 were Charlotte Herbst, Calvin Hyland, Evelyn Kline, Harper Reidy, Amelie Ronnie, Simran Sharma and Henry Sharp.  Racing at the meet were Priya Bass, Wyatt Davis, Adelle Mohrmann, Aarv Patolia, Hailey Payne, Albert Shi, Parker Waldman, Angela Wang, Emma Wu, Audrey Zhang and Justin Ziaee.

In the 11-Year-Old Age Group, winning events were Kate Brinton, Emma Fouke, Graham Hall, Prairey Maxwell and Mason Voss.  Placing in the Top 8 were Olive Agustin, Leela Anadkat, Kya Baker, Audrey Brown, William Chen, Charlotte Dahlby, Charlie Fan, Cameron House, Martin Igney, Kellie Ji, Vivian McCaffrey, Ethan Miller, Seamus Miller, Elsa Moore, Molly Moriarty, Serkan Patterson, Daniel Peterson, Samuel Ulrich and Eve Unger.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Winnie Beardsley, Connor Brennan, Jenson Busch, Claire Collet, Rowan Conway-Deheck, Leah Farmer, Rohan Karwa, Rachel Liu, George Lu, Keller Strauss, Vada Tulyasathien, Henry Turner, Lucy Werner, Andrew Wolken, Tyler Yates and Elizabeth York. 

For the 12-Year-Old Swimmers, winning events were Lucy Baley, Austin Chu, Jacob Corbett and Alicia Williams, while placing in the Top 8 were Christian Chang, Colin Cunneen, Katie Everett, Addie Jeliazkova, Marissa Kelley, Kaedyn Miller, Curtis Murawski, Aarav Sade, Margaret Sharp, Sophie Sobush, Landon Waldman and Kevin Wu.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Sadie Cole, Berkli Dias, Maddie Keller, Evelyn Sanchez and Emily Tinnin.

Winning events as 13 Year Olds were Claire Chumley, Harrison Frost, Olivia Hanes, Aiden Kim, Mia Panic and Noel Rice, while placing in the Top 8 were Lane Baker, Jackson Brinton, Gio Bucci, Elise Hamelink, Henry Hassenstab, Sam Hoberman, Frances Igney, Sienna Kelley, Klara Miller, Tiernan Miller, Madelyn Mug, Megan Ruth and Cole Warnke.  Placing in the Top 16 were Anna Schuler, Ella Shadel Lawrence, Sadie Ulrich and Sofia Vega.

With the 14-Year-Old Swimmers, winning events were Reese Anderson, Charlotte Brown, Wenxu He, Will Plassmeyer and Camden Theodos.  Placing in the Top 8 were Bella Anadkat, Aidan Brennan, Keegan Brown, Samantha Cohen, Carson Crane, Giannna Demaggio, Ryan DeMargel, Jordyn Hamrah, Tucker Hill, Jessa Lee, Lillian Limbrick, William Mcilwaine, Maitland Michaelson, Henry Mura, Audrey Qureshi, Olivia Shell, Loren Shelton, Mia Singer, Ema Stojicevic, Jonas Stolker, Mariam Zakhary and Arlo Ziolkowski, while placing in the Top 16 was Eshaa Deore.

With the 15 & Overs, winning events were, MJ Bezzant, Jax Bradburn, Avery Cunneen, Caroline Foltz, Campbell Murawski, Josh Noll and Nora Rutkowski.  Placing in the Top 8 were Ella Arbeiter, Drew Baker, Nora Lee Brown, Ashlyn Canale, Kathryn Chaves, Casey Chu, Ben Chumley, Asher Cole, Sam Ellenhorn, Jacqueline Hu, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Samantha Lee, Sean McGinley, Ruby Nussbaum, Juliette Phillips, Hannah Renaud, Leah Renner, Graham Sagel, Madelyn Schoedel, Brooke Shadduck, Xander Theodos, Austin Theodos, Hunter Wilson, Emma Wisker and Graham Zucker.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Ava Craig, Cate Fear, Everdine Ferguson, Kate Punnewaert, Alex Snyder, Sarah Wallace and Emma Welch, while also competing was Kaitlynn Cragg, Isabel Phillips, Lauren Randall, Nina Schuerer, Sophia Snyder, Ella Welch and Meg Willmann.
