CSP Wins 8 & Under Champs

CSP went into the 8 & Under Championship this year as the defending champs.  With 55 athletes entered in the meet, CSP brought more swimmers than any other team.  By the end of the meet, CSP once again came out on top.  Since 1996, CSP has won this meet 26 times!

Deon Saunders won the Boys High Point Award at this meet, with Jason Lai finishing in 4th.  Other swimmers scoring in the Top 10 were Anika Goettel (6th) and Amie Reboulet (7th) for the Girls, and Joseph Moore (6th) was the only 7-Year-Old Boy in the Top 10!

For the Girls, placing in the Top 8 were Anika and Amie, while scoring in the Top 16 were Alexa Brinton, Quinn Haug, Cecilia Myroup and Eleanor Swanson.  Also swimming on the 8 & Under Championship Team were Natalie Asiimwe, Beatrix Bogost, Addison Crumpley and Tanvi Savarnya.

In the 8 & Under Girls 100 Medley Relays, Saanvi, Amie, Anika and Alexa were 3rd, Maya Hindupur, Cecilia, Delaney Miranda and Quinn were 8th

In the Girls 100 Free Relays, Anika, Winter Fanetti, Quinn and Amie were 3rd, Saanvi Savarnya, Margaret Melly, Catherine Moritz and Cecilia were 8th, Eleanor, Delaney, Palmer Rand and Mary Felsch were 9th and Charlotte Ciesielski, Avery Faupel, Finley McGinnis and Ananya Shingote were 11th

Winning events for the Boys were Jason and Deon.  Placing in the Top 8 were Gus Dacey and Joseph.  Scoring in the Top 16 John Ciesielski, Alexander Jin, Oscar Miller, Nathan Pohrer, Nicholas Pohrer and Nathaniel Thompson.  Also, part of the 8 & Under Championship Team were Alexander Cash, Thomas Brinton, Dominik Fertl, Reider Kolmar and Graham Schnakenberg.

In the Boys 100 Medley Relay, Jason, Deon, Alexander and Joseph won, while Nicholas, Timofey Ryazanov, Nathan and Benjamin Russell were 6th and Maison Birge, Gus, Nathaniel and John were 7th.

In the Boys 100 Free Relays, Jason, Joseph, Alexander and Deon won, while Gus, Nathan, Jingxi Xu and John were 5th, Edward Melly, Nathaniel, Wyatt LaRue and Timofey were 6th, Elliot Fishman, Sikander Manocha, Ryder Burke and Nathan were 7th and Oscar, Parker Koke, Sawyer Waldman and Asa Bains were 8th.

This Meet also had some 9 – 12-Year-Old Swimmers as well.  Winning events was Kate Brinton.  Placing in the Top 8 were Hugh Glastetter, Jason Kraft, Vivian McCaffrey, Serkan Patterson, Amelie Ronnie, Ivan Ryazanov, Landon Waldman and Eamon Weis.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Vihaan Deore, Max Etherington, Leah Farmer, Calvin Hyland, Foster Johnston, Hailey Payne, Jinghuan Xu and Tyler Yates.  Also swimming were Isaiah Asiimwe, Nicole Asiimwe, Priya Bass, Connor Brennan, Jenson Busch, Dasha Duncan, Irene Felsch, Sally Gray Mueth, Lucas He, Katelyn Huffman, Kennedy Johnson, Nathan Lai, George Lu, Sophia Luo, Carr Michaelson, James Moore, Nila Patterson, Richard Reboulet, Dhruv Rohatgi, Edward Ronnie, Jacob Schilling, Simran Sharma, Aaryan Singh, Keller Strauss, Oliver Swanson, Parker Waldman, Angela Wang, Benjamin Ward, Emma Wu, Elizabeth York and Ava Zasaretti.
