CSP Travels to Lenexa, Kansas and competes at the Rose Memorial

CSP took Mother’s Day weekend to Lenexa, Kansas and competed in the Rose Memorial Swim Meet.  We had over 100 swimmers attend this prelim/final meet at the pool that will host this summer’s central zones meet.  We had may outstanding performances by all of our swimmers!  Austin Chu broke his first 13 – 14 Team Record in the 200 IM.

Winning events for the 10 & Unders were Julia Bucci, Deon Saunders, and Finn Ziolkowski.  Placing in the Top 8 were Nathan Chen, Timmy Chen, Triston Cole, Anika Goettel, Harper Stewart, and Benjamin Ward, while Carr Michaelson placed in the Top 16.

With our 11 – 12-Year-Old Swimmers, winning events were Emma Fouke, Prairey Maxwell, and Vivie Murphy.  Placing in the Top 8 were Olive Agustin, Kya Baker, Lucy Baley, Kate Brinton, Charlie Fan, Cameron House, Marissa Kelley, Evan Kim, Dhathri Kolli, Indie Layton, Molly Moriarty, Daniel Peterson, and Sophie Sobush.  Finishing in the Top 12 were Leela Anadkat, Charlotte Dahlby and Lucas Theodos.  Also competing at the meet were Winnie Beardsley, William Chen, Sadie Cole, Vivian McCaffrey, Eve Unger, and Lucy Werner.

13 – 14 athletes who won events include, Austin, Sam Hoberman, Aiden Kim, Henry Mura, and Mia Panic.  Placing in the Top 8 were Keegan Brown, Gio Bucci, Colin Cunneen, Elise Hamelink, Jordyn Hamrah, Liv Hanes, Sienna Kelley, Brodyn Murphy, and Ali Williams.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Aidan Brennan, Jackson Brinton, Henry Hassenstab, Maitland Michaelson, Maddie Mug, Curtis Murawski, Aarav Sade, and Kevin Wu.  Also competing in Lenexa were Miller Dorsey, Tucker Hill, and Ella Shadel Lawrence.

In the 15 & Over Age Group, winning events were Nora Lee Brown, Max Marcus, and Emma Wisker.  Placing in the Top 8 were Ella Arbeiter, Brody Blatt, Jax Bradburn, Ashlyn Canale, Kathryn Chaves, Asher Cole, Ava Craig, Avery Cunneen, Trey Cunneen, Laney Fenton, Everdine Ferguson, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Samantha Lee, Cameron McCrary, Sean McGinley, Campbell Murawski, Ruby Nussbaum, Kate Punnewaert, Hannah Renaud, Leah Renner, Norah Rutkowski, Nina Schuerer, Xander Theodos,   Finishing in the Top 16 were Grady Ashley, Drew Baker, Karson Bluette, Ben Chumley, Cate Fear, Jessa Lee, Cabot Murawski, Brooke Shadduck, Camden Theodos, and Jaden Yarbrough.  Also racing at the Rose Memorial Meet were Penelope Alcott, Casey Chu, Nora Cooke, Sam Ellenhorn, Wenxu He, and Brett Ninneman, Sarah Wallace and Amir Yuldashev.
