Amelia Dino, a member of our Senior II Group, a Senior at Vizitation Academy, has given her verbal commitment to attend Union College. Union College is a private research university located in Schenectady, New York. Amelia will join the Dutchmen in the fall of 2023. At this past Ozark A Championships, CSP was proud to earn two Ozark Coaches of the Year. We had three coaches nominated, one at each level. After nominations, each team in Ozark had a vote to determine who the Ozark Coaches of the Year were. David McCrary was nominated and won the Ozark Senior Coach of the Year. Lanette Imig was nominated and won the Ozark Developmental Coach of the Year. Chris McCrary was nominated as the Age Group Coach of the Year.

CSP Tideriders won their ninth consecutive Ozark A Team Championship. This is a decade of dominance by the Tideriders being that there was no meet in 2020! We had 122 athletes, 700 individual events, and the only team that was able to field all relays in all age groups! As a Team, we won both the Girls side and the Boys side of the meet. Juliette Phillips a member of our Elite group has given her verbal commitment to Binghamton University. Binghamton University is a public research univeristy located in Vestal, New York. CSP hosted our Sprint Your Own Age Meet this past weekend. Almost 75% of our athletes participated in this meet and it was a huge success. Unlike most meets, swimmers will race against swimmers their own age. It makes for more races and more opportunities to swim against swimmers who are your age as well. USA Swimming just annouced the Scholastic All-American List for the 2021/2022 swimming year. Four Tideriders made the list. Caroline Foltz, Anna Moehn, Joshua Noll and JD Suarez all made the list for the 2nd time. Ozark had five swimmers make the list with four coming from CSP. We had two meets on the same weekend. We had over 100 swimmers attend a meet in town at the St. Peter’s Rec Plex, while over 100 swimmers traveled to Evansville, Indiana to swim at the Newburgh Sea Creatures Meet. Our first meet of the 2022 – 2023 Short Course Season was outside! CSP traveled to Cape Girardeau with over 100 swimmers to compete at the Open Air Classic. It was a perfect weekend to race outside! CSP has been invited to the National Age Group Summit at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado November 3-6, 2022. The theme of this year's Summit is "The Distance Revolution." Our club was selected based on our virtual club championship score for 15-18 year old athletes in distance events and the 400 IM. Max Marcus, a member of our Eilte group, was selected to participate in USA Swimming’s National Select Camp, which takes place October 13-16 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
